The Larson Recreation Center (LRC) located at 610 South Yakima is a family oriented facility with a variety of activities for all ages such as token operated batting cages, FREE Wii video gaming, FREE Foos-Ball, FREE Ping-Pong, FREE Air-Hockey, and full service concessions. The LRC is also home to the FREE BMX Bicycle track, The LOFT (Learning Opportunities For Today), and the FREE Municipal Ice Rink (seasonal). Please be sure and read our new discipline policy. BATTING CAGES
Batting Cages and Facility To reserve the facility for non-open hours the cost will be $75.00 per hour and the machines will be turned on. No tokens needed.
Softball/Baseball/Fastpitch Teams To reserve one cage during open hours will be $35.00 per hour. The machine will be turned on and no takens are needed.
Baseball Hitting Clinics Ages: Girls and Boys 7 - 12 years old Session 1 - November 7, 9, 14, 16 & 21, 20101 Session 2 - November 28, 30, December 5, 7 & 12, 2011 Times: 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. 7 - 9 years old 6:05 - 7:10 p.m. 10 - 12 years old Cost: $90.00 per person, per session Instructor: Greg Smith, former major league player, founder and head instuctor of Hit to Win Baseball Camps, hitting coach for KC Royals Spokane affiliate and current major league scout. Program: Learn the physical skills and the mental approach to be the best hitter you can be. Each individual will gain postive feedback and higher learning in each area being demonstrated such as: Mental Preperation and Approach/Set-up, Vision, Timing/Rhythm Mechanism, Power Postion/Balance, Weight Transfer/Flexibility and Bat Head Awareness/Extension.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
$80.00 for 2 hours for 10 people includes hot dogs, chips and 4 pitchers of pop, ice skate rental or 40 batting tokens. Cost for each additional person above 10 people will be $8.00.
$160.00 for 2 hours for 20 people includes hot dogs, chips and 8 pitchers of pop, ice skate rental or 80 batting tokens. Cost for each additional person above 10 people will be $8.00.
Cost for each additional hour beyond 2 hours will be $30.00.

SPECIAL EVENTS
New Year's Eve Party Ages: 6th - 12th grade When: December 31, 2011 Time: 9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Location: Larson Recreation Center, 610 South Yakima Cost: $10.00 per person if registered by 8:00 p.m. at the LRC on December 31, 2011 or $15.00 thereafter. Come celebrate the New Year at the Moses Lake Ice Rink! This will be an evening filled with fun including ice skating and rentals, unlimited batting cages, pool, air hockey, foosball, The LOFT, broomball competitions, video games, music and food. Come individually or bring your entire youth group. Please pre-register at the Larson Recreation Center. For questions call 764-3836.
Nickel Night at the LRC Ages: All Ages When: February 11, 2012 Time: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Location: Larson Recreation Center, 610 South Yakima Cost: A nickel ($.05) When was the last time you did the hokey pokey? How low can you go playing limbo? Bring your family and friends to the LRC for lots of free games and free prizes donated by the local business community. Games will be both indoors and outdoors on the ice rink. Bring the kids to see the animals from the Grant County Animal Outreach, get popcorn for a nickel. Bring two cans of food for the local food bank and get a skate rental for only a nickel. This is a Saturday you don't want to miss!!!
